Tanya Perret is the passion behind Live Breathe Hike. A dedicated mountaineer and Yoga practitioner she has been guiding people in the mountains for the past 20years. She has completed in excess of 50 Tour du Mont Blancs, multiple Haute Routes, Via Alpina’s and Tuscan trails, in addition to 18 years wandering the trails of the Himalaya’s. Tanya completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayan town of Darjeeling, famed for its tea plantations and in the shadow of Kanchenjunga, in addition to holding the UIMLA International Mountain Leader Award. My aim is to connect people with their environment, by seeking out the hidden trails, sampling the best cuisine and giving people a wonderful cultural insight. Tanya also contributes to travel guides; most recently ‘Trekking in the Makalu Region of Nepal’ by Himalayan travel guides.
