This trek is completed over 10 days allowing time for steady acclimatisation, as you weave your way up the different valleys ascending through Gurung, Thaklai and Magar settlements.

This was one of the original treks first introduced in Nepal and is a wonderful introduction to the country and its people.

Variation of the above?

Maybe you want to do something a little different, perhaps taking a different return journey and extending your trek to hike across to Sikles. There are many possibilities so don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can create an itinerary to meet your needs.

What accommodation do we use during the trip?

Kathmandu offers a vast selection of Hotels from bespoke Boutique Hotels such as the wonderful Shambala near the US Embassy, 5* Palaces (Shrangrila, Yak and Yeti) to simple Guesthouse accommodation, the choice is yours. We use classical teahouses whilst on trek.

How difficult is the walking?

This trip is graded as challenging with all the Hikes taking between 6 – 8 hrs. Your mountain leader is exceptionally experienced at managing trekking groups and will ensure there is ample opportunity for taking photos, visiting teahouses / monastries and enjoying the flora and fauna of the Himalayas.
