Variation of the above?

Maybe you want to do something a little different, perhaps taking in some higher passes giving you a more technical experience? There are many possibilities so don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can create an itinerary to meet your needs.

What accommodation do we use during the trip?

Kathmandu offers a vast selection of Hotels from bespoke Boutique Hotels such as the wonderful Shambala near the US Embassy, 5* Palaces (Shrangrila, Yak and Yeti) to simple Guesthouse accommodation, the choice is yours. During the trek we predominately recommend camping as the standard of teahouses is limited in this remote region, however for smaller groups there is the option of staying in simple accommodation / home stays.

How difficult is the walking?

This trip is graded as strenuous with all the Hikes taking between 8 – 10 hrs. Your mountain leader is exceptionally experienced at managing trekking groups and will ensure there is ample opportunity for taking photos, visiting teahouses / monastries and enjoying the flora and fauna of the Himalayas. Our itineraries are designed to help you acclimatise slowly and safely.  For more information on our grades, click HERE.
